Casualties: Unknown lets players share the same world with Creature Comforts: Seeded

Procedurally generated worlds are great for surprises, but sometimes you stumble across a particularly interesting one and wish you could give somebody else the exact same experience. KaiSnack’s Creature Comforts: Seeded introduces that possibility to Casualties: Unknown with a new world-seed selection screen. Players can enter a number or phrase, generate a random seed, use a shared daily seed, or copy an existing one to pass along. The chosen seed can then influence the caves, structures, and modifiers encountered during a run, making familiar layouts something you can deliberately return to rather than hope to find again.
There’s an important distinction, though: sharing the seed alone doesn’t guarantee an identical world. Players also need matching generation settings, including things like loot and ore distribution, to reproduce the same results. The current release was built against the game’s demo, and compatibility with later versions hasn’t been established. Still, giving players a common starting point opens up interesting possibilities for comparing routes, sharing discoveries, and seeing how differently two people approach the same generated world.
