Putting together a large Oblivion Remastered modlist can become an adventure before you've even left the Imperial Prison. Sword of Oblivion aims to handle much of that assembly, bringing together 177 mods covering tougher balance, additional faction activities, visual changes, interface improvements, and expanded audio. The collection builds on Dungeons & Daedra Remastered while adapting its components to Oblivion Remastered patch 1.2.

It's a substantial installation rather than a lightweight preset. Players need the Steam Deluxe Edition, Wabbajack, and roughly 50 GB of additional space for downloads and installation. The creator has also removed or hidden certain incompatible components, so the list isn't a promise that every older mod works under the new patch. For players who want a more demanding Cyrodiil without assembling everything by hand, it offers a defined starting point.
