Immersive Equipment Displays has become a familiar tool for players who want their characters to look as though they're actually carrying their gear. Weapons, potions, and other equipment can appear on characters even when they aren't actively equipped, making loadouts feel more tangible. An unofficial patch from zagog629 aims to keep that functionality available on Skyrim's newer 1.7.104 runtime.
The update replaces the original mod's DLL rather than rebuilding the entire package. The patch targets Immersive Equipment Displays 1.7.4 on Skyrim runtime 1.7.104, while runtime 1.7.99 remains untested. It's a compatibility fix for an established utility, not a new equipment-display system.
