Gallowmere's crooked world is finding a more comfortable home on modern PCs. The latest MediEvilRecomp beta replaces an older geometry workaround with rendering patches, improves frame interpolation and introduces a Better Rendering option for terrain, characters and camera presentation.
It also fixes widescreen behavior in the overworld map and screen clearing, and includes an automatic updater. This remains an open beta, so saving often is sensible. Players need their own North American PlayStation game copy and the .NET 10 runtime, with OpenAL recommended. The goal is to preserve MediEvil's oddball charm while smoothing the technical journey back.
