Medieval II redraws the borders

What happens to Medieval II when familiar kingdoms stop starting in familiar places? Random Start Total War lets players reshuffle the opening territories of 56 playable factions using a configurable seed, turning an expanded campaign map into a fresh set of neighbors, rivalries, and alternate-history surprises.
Berlioz91 built the beta on Total Vanilla Beyond, and it requires M2EX. A newly generated arrangement means starting a new campaign; existing saves won’t magically redistribute their factions. The creator has tested it on their own machine and is still seeking feedback on installation, stability, and faction-specific problems.
