LSCrime Brings More Criminal Chaos to the Streets of Grand Theft Auto V

Los Santos has never exactly been a peaceful place. Between the reckless drivers, police chases, random shootouts, and whatever illegal shit Trevor happens to be doing on any given afternoon, there's usually plenty of trouble to go around. But what if the city's criminals had a few more brutal ideas of their own? We're talking muggings, carjackings, ATM and store robberies, and even kidnappings happening around you as you explore the city.
That's what modder SloRey is introducing with LSCrime, a new ambient crime mod for Grand Theft Auto V that brings additional criminal activity to the streets of Los Santos. The mod generates nearby incidents, complete with notifications and map blips, while suspects organically react in real time as events unfold. Suddenly, that quick, harmless drive across town might come with a few unexpected distractions.
Released as a public beta on October 20, LSCrime works independently, so you won't need to turn GTA V into a full police simulator to enjoy it. However, if you're already using LSPatrol, the mod can integrate with it to present these incidents as police callouts. One important caveat: this is strictly for single-player GTA V, not GTA Online.
Grand Theft Auto V already had its share of ambient mayhem, but there's something that gets us absolutely giddy about making Los Santos feel even less safe and predictable. Whether you're responding to trouble or simply watching the city's residents make incredibly bad decisions, LSCrime looks like another fun way to stir up some shit in one of the greatest sandbox games to ever exist.
