GTA IV's phone gets a quick-save shortcut

Niko's phone has become a little more useful. Fusion Fix now lets GTA IV players make quick saves from it outside missions, cutting down on trips to a safehouse. The update also offers more control over stunt-jump slow motion and cinematic cameras, camera shifts during climbing and car theft, and automatic ladder climbing.

Under the hood, the release revisits console gamma and fixes high-frame-rate issues involving water physics and aiming. Existing users should review their settings after updating because some preferences may change. The Complete Edition is supported, but multiplayer is not. It's a broad quality-of-life pass that makes an old favorite less fussy without changing what makes Liberty City itself.
