More mercenaries wait in Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord's taverns

Tavern recruitment in Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord can feel narrow once you've seen the same mercenaries enough times. Free Companies of Calradia replaces the three vanilla lines with 59 units across four troop trees, tying many recruits to local cultures while letting some neutral groups appear anywhere. Warband-inspired Rhodoks and Sword Sisters are among the returning flavors.
The roster offers more choices without making every hired sword an elite. High-tier mercenaries get solid equipment but remain below noble troops in skill. This is a new-campaign commitment: the creator hasn't tested adding it to existing saves and warns that removing it mid-campaign will break them. Harmony and War Sails are required, and other recruitment overhauls may conflict.
