Command & Conquer: Generals and Zero Hour have a new way to feel smoother on modern displays. Fluid Generals rebuilds the engines around a 120 Hz simulation at normal game speed, with rendering that can match displays up to 240 FPS. Borderless play, farther zoom and minimap dragging make the old battlefields easier to navigate too.

The October 12 updates brought a graphical installer and fixed redirected-folder installs, reaching v1.0.2. You'll need Windows 10 or 11 and the original games. Big battles can still lag, multiplayer and other mods aren't certified, and saves and replays remain tied to their simulation rate; the alternative rates are experimental.
