Final Fantasy X's 30fps presentation is tied closely to the game's internal timing, which makes a higher frame rate trickier than flipping a switch. The new fps60 mod aims for smoother exploration and battles while keeping combat, timers and effects on their original clock.

Movement is interpolated between game updates, with additional fixes for camera sequences, spells and input. Movies and menus retain their original frame rates. The release specifically targets the Windows Steam remaster build 25501027; other builds, the Microsoft Store version and interactions with other mod frameworks are untested. Final Fantasy X-2 isn't included. It's promising work, but very much a build-specific installation.
