A greener Capital Wasteland

The Capital Wasteland doesn’t have to look quite so dead. Vurt’s Animated Flora Overhaul brings animated, lusher trees to Fallout 3 and replaces most of the familiar stumps, giving the landscape a noticeably greener character for anyone revisiting the ruins.

This first release focuses on living-looking vegetation; Vurt says more dead-looking trees are planned for later. Leaf rendering also depends on antialiasing settings, so if the foliage looks unusually thin or partly transparent, the creator’s setup notes are worth a look.
