Moonboy187's Start on Horseback mod does exactly what the name promises for Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Edition Remastered, automatically giving characters a mount when battle begins. Your Merit rank determines the ordinary horses available, while familiar faces get some special treatment. Liu Bei can earn Hex Mark, Lu Bu and Guan Yu can ride Red Hare, and Meng Huo and Zhu Rong get elephants. Yes, elephants. Better yet, any mount you've deliberately equipped takes priority, so the mod won't stomp all over your setup. It's a small convenience, but for a game built around jumping straight into absolute battlefield chaos, it fits rather nicely.
